Transylvania has over 500 castles and fortfied churches as well as many other wonderful historic sites. Many of these are set amongst vast forests alive with bears, wild boar, deer, lynx, wolves and other species which rightly earn Transylvania the title of Europes last wild frontier.

To see mountain eagles and other great birds living in harmony with the mountain people who live a life long since forgotten in Western Europe is something all should try to experience with their families.
